The type of belt you use will depend on your products and whether they are pre-packed or loose products in direct contact with the belt. If you are on a budget and the food products are wrapped and sealed this will enable you to by our cost saving aluminium conveyors. However if you have open or loose product you will need a food grade belt dictated by your product and the fabrication will need to be stainless steel. Please see belt types further down the page.

Can I put food grade belting on an aluminium conveyor ?
Yes this is an option but only for packed food as loose food could come into contact with the aluminium so it is best to use stainless steel where ever possible
